A Plethora of Design Info
The graphic design resources we have at our fingertips today are truly amazing. There are so many places online to learn all about design and become the best designers we can be. The only tricky part is finding those places. Here is a list of the 11 most awesome places that are chalk-full of inspiration and information for both graphic designers at any skill level.
Graphic Design Resources
Skillshare is one of the biggest educational platforms for designers, photographers, visual artists, and really anyone in a creative career. It’s a place for creatives to learn from others and to share their own skills by making their own courses too.
Dribble
Dribble might be the no.1 source for design inspiration on the web. The work posted there is beautiful, polished, and extremely creative. It’s one of the first places I go when creating a mood board for any project.
Creative Bloq
Creative Bloq is a great resource for design inspiration, news, software reviews, and tutorials. They also offer subscriptions to some of the best creative magazines like Computer Arts, Web Designer, and some 3D Art magazines.
The Futur
The Futur is one of the best places on YouTube to learn about the business of design; freelancing, how to price yourself, negotiating, etc. They also have some amazing courses in logo creation, typography, stylescapes, and more.
Just Creative
Jacob Cass is an incredibly inspiring designer whose list of accomplishments include having logos featured in Logo Lounge 7 and giving a TEDx talk about Building A Personal Brand. He also has some truly fantastic work on his website and is an amazing knowledge base for graphic designers.
YouTube
This one is pretty obvious, but there are so many designers on YouTube willing to share their skills for free it’s a must-see for anyone looking to level up their design skills. Some of my favorite design YouTubers (Aside from myself) are:

Ads of the World
This is the best collection of international print and video adverting on the web. It’s a great place to go to get some inspiration and to see what the rest of the world has to offer in the way of advertising.
Branding Magazine
An online journal all about branding for design and marketing professionals. They’ve got news about recent company re-brands and reviews on some pretty wicked marketing campaigns.
FastCompany – Co.Design
If you don’t already know about this site, check it out. Right now. House to the most innovative and fantastical graphic design, industrial design, architecture… and so much more. Want to be a more creative designer? Visit this site daily.
Web Designer Resources
Smashing Magazine
One of the best online resources for web designer information and resources. Here you’ll find a ton of free web graphics, great articles on design, and some wicked freebies to liven up your desktop (Especially great if you’re like me and change your desktop picture daily).
Awwwards
Awwwards is a web design and development competition that strives to praise and promote the very best in website design. It has a collection of some of the absolute best website work online and if you need inspiration for a website you should definitely start here.
